Alcohol may seem like a good option to help carry the weight, but it hides the physical and emotional damage you may be doing by trying to handle it all on your own. Self-medicating is masking the problem, not solving it. Asking for help is a sign of courage. Don’t let the fear of how others may react stop you from seeking help.
