Overview:
The Train‑the‑Trainer Workshop provides qualified law enforcement trainers with tools to develop and deliver effective in‑house officer safety and operational readiness training within their agencies.
This one-day, in-person, no-cost workshop, facilitated by subject-matter experts, is an event that:
ü Teaches the VALOR framework and concepts for use in individual agencies.
ü Identifies and explores available resources, suggested scenarios, discussion questions, and training videos available on the VALOR Program website.
ü Allows for scalable training deliveries in-house, from full-day training to valuable quick-hit, roll-call sessions.
ü Engages participants through practical teach-back exercises.
This course offers a hands-on approach to help law enforcement professionals train their fellow officers, equipping you to influence outcomes, shape decisions, and ultimately save and enhance lives.
Training will be held February 11, 2027, from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., CT, with a one-hour break for lunch (on your own).
To attend this workshop, officers should have previously attended a VALOR Survive & Thrive® officer safety and readiness training within the last two years.
