When you’re on the road, does driving have your full attention? Are you often distracted by the technology in your patrol car? Today’s officer faces ever-growing distractions—from texting and calling coworkers and family members to looking at information on your MDC. Join retired Undersheriff Rob Beidler and Chief Terry Nichols with the Seguin, Texas, Police Department as they discuss their experiences with distracted driving, how to combat complacency behind the wheel, and some simple ways to refocus on the road. We always tell our families to get home safely, and they need you to get home safely, too!
