    This course educates, prepares, inspires, and challenges you to advance your officer safety and wellness strategies within your agency and implement organizational changes.  We know you’re busy, but we believe this one-of-a-kind virtual course is needed now more than ever.


    Over six weeks, you’ll work through twelve, self-paced micro-modules that are each approximately 30 to 45 minutes long.  This virtual training also includes two live roundtable events.  A certificate of attendance for 14 hours will be provided after attending the required live roundtables.


    Self-Paced Start Date: Monday, June 6, 2022


    1st Live Roundtable Event Options:  

    Session A - Thursday, June 23, 2022, 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., ET

    Session B - Thursday, June 23, 2022, 2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m., ET


    2nd Live Roundtable Event Options:  

    Session A - Thursday, July 14, 2022, 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., ET

    Session B - Thursday, July 14, 2022, 2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m., ET


    Participation in both roundtable events is mandatory to receive full credit hours.


    This is a self-paced course, facilitated by subject-matter experts, that:

    ·       Addresses leadership strategies.

    ·       Examines causes of officer assaults, injuries, and deaths.

    ·       Explores critical officer wellness issues.

    ·       Discusses protocols and best practices.

    ·       Discusses setting a safety precedent and accountability.

    ·       Illustrates actionable opportunities to increase safety and wellness.


    The safety and wellness of the officers on your watch depend on your leadership.


    Credit Hours Available:  14 Hours


    Registration for this course is limited.  If the course reaches capacity, you will be placed on a waitlist.  If a spot does not open, you will be the first invited to the next course offering.
