    Overview:

    The VALOR Safer Together Frontline Officer Workshop is a highly interactive course for sworn officers that provides actionable skills and strategies to enhance their safety and wellness and create safer, healthier communities.  

     

    Morning Session Topics:  

    • Remember why you serve
    • Enhance your safety
    • Reduce your stress
       

    Afternoon Session Topics: 

    • Implement skills and strategies to improve your safety and reduce your stress 
    • Take charge of your future and take the Safer Together Challenge


    Training will be held April 30, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., CT, with a 1-hour break for lunch (on your own).  

     

    Certificate of attendance for 8 hours available

No. This training is funded by BJA and is free to any sworn law enforcement officer. However, travel, lodging, and per diem costs are the responsibility of the attendee or the attendee’s agency.
Yes. Depending on the location of the training and the state’s law enforcement training authority, state law enforcement credit may be available.
This training is strictly classroom-based. Appropriate dress is business casual or uniform, if required by your agency.
While this training is primarily for state, local, and tribal officers, federal law enforcement officers may be admitted on a space-available basis.
